GERRY QUIGLEY &
The MYSTIC BLUES band

Dublin born and bred guitar wizard and composer Gerry Quigley has returned home to Ireland after 30 successful years in Australia and it’s no surprise that he continues to captivate crowds where ever he plays, including a smashing 2020 debut with his band by invitation at The Great British Rock n Blues Festival in Skegness UK.

From those first few notes you hear why Gerry is so often compared to his own guitar superheroes including Roy Buchanan, Peter Green, Paul Kossof, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher and many more.

With the band’s energy on stage and Quigley with his signature sounds, including spine-tingling blues-prog instrumentals, dirty blues rock originals and classics played Quigley style, to the hauntingly mesmerising celtic folk arrangements reminiscent of Pink Floyd, the music will at times mesmerize and take you away to another world.

With powerhouse Frank “Muddy” McNally rocking out on bass/vocals, Jimmy “Seamus” Howlett (UK) on drums, and Sharon Quigley “Rockin’ Rev” on keys, Gerry Quigley and his band will entertain with a soundscape of guitars and other things with strings including his No.1 Gibson Les Paul, Fender Strat, Dobro slide, Telecaster, Gibson 135, 12-string Acoustic and more, along with some seriously mad sounds from his double-neck mandola/bouzouki named Shaun (Séan) and Sheela (Síle)!

If you love all the blues, rock and prog guitar greats, Quigley and his band are definitely a must-see.
