Gerry Quigley’s Mystic Blues Band

Dublin guitar wizard and composer Gerry Quigley has returned home to Ireland after 30 successful years in Australia .. where he was awarded honorary life membership of the prestigious Perth Blues Club Western Australia for his contribution to the Western Australian music scene.  It’s no surprise that he continues to captivate the crowds with his band where ever he plays.

The musical magic Gerry creates with his band will leave you spellbound – with powerhouse Frank “Muddy” McNally rocking the stage on lead vocals/bass, the amazing Jimmy “Seamus” Howlett (UK) on drums, and Sharon “Rockin’ Rev” grooving on piano, hammond and synth.

Quigley will mesmerise you with his ecclectic collection of guitars and things with strings including his No.1, Gibson Les Paul to his Fender Strat, Telecaster, Dobro Slide, 12-string Acoustic, Gibson 135, mandolin and more including some seriously mad sounds from his one of a kind double-neck mandola/bouzouki named Shaun (Séan) and Sheela (Síle)!

Pumping out his own brand of spine-tingling blues, blues-rock originals and classics, along with his signature instrumentals – blues-inspired dreamy prog rock originals and mystical magical celtic blues .. Quigley and his band will at times mesmerise and take you away to another world.

It’s no wonder Gerry and the band have been invited to play some of the best festivals in Ireland and the UK so far including:

  • Ballyshannon Rory Gallagher Festival 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
  • Blackstairs Blues Festival 2017
